Combat Police M40 Double Decal Combat Helmet - Quist Factory Example

An M40 model Quist manufactured double decal combat police helmet in shells size 62cm.  Liner and paint are in excellent condition as are the decals which are standard, factory applied examples.  Liner is pig skin and has a double tie string added by the original German owner probably for additional head support.  Nice example of a helmet increasingly becoming more desirable in the collector market place.  Combat police helmets were worn by units reporting to the Waffen SS and were typically used in combat zones and behind rear lines in anti-partisan and security duties.
